🍄Mycelium Networks

Mycelium is the vegetative part of a fungus, consisting of a mass of branching, thread-like hyphae. The mass of hyphae is sometimes called shiro, especially within the fairy ring fungi. Fungal colonies composed of mycelium are found in and on soil and many other substrates.

Score (2011) This piece is completed once a rock climber scales the face of a triptych of large paintings featuring giant resin Haribo candy holds, triggering sensors projecting a note-by-note passage of Stravinsky's "Oedipus Rex". Resin, push switches, canvas imprint, bolts, midi keyboard, matrix into audio media device playing one note of Cocteaus Oedipus Rex as its touched, wood.

🐦 God was a clever idea

Two lard and seed cubes enclose resin and seed sculptures of Ares. 100 pigeons eat the lard and seed cube over a month and reveal the figure inside as if chipping away at a marble block and sculpting the figures in stalled in an office and lit by computer screens and office halogen lights.
